“The author takes us by the hand and leads us on a walk through his literary Central Park, filled with falling leafs of luxuriant metaphors, shimmering ponds of hilarious moments, and grassy fields of incredibly flourishing detail.” Thus begins the shameless author-written advance praise that truly opens this smart-comedy novel.
One part coming of age story, one part social commentary, and thirty-two parts hilarity combine to form “The Post-College Memoirs of Paul Hutson.” Following a recent college graduate (Paul Hutson) through his struggles to land a job and discover the meaning of life in the real world, TPCMPH nests us in his cranium as he tries to hatch an answer to the age old question, “Now what?”
Paul Hutson narrates his journey of seemingly-meaningless (but always amusing) moments as he embarks on his quest across the country, along the way imparting the reader with his comedically metaphoric views via pop-culture commentaries on everything from the morality of children's cartoons to the emotional harm of baseball. TPCMPH packs in the analogies like an overstuffed piece of carry on luggage, bursting at the seams and perched to explode in the overhead bin of the minds of its readers.
This full-length novel stamps a reader’s literary passport before throwing them on a wordy supersonic jet, catapulting them through clouds of vivid nights with friends and the turbulence of pulsating awkward moments. Included at its end are appendixes ranging from original Paul Hutson poems to Paul’s invented pick-up lines.
Whether you are 22 and clueless, 55 and nostalgic, or 18 and hopeful, Paul Hutson knows the feeling and he’s written about it. Buy TPCMPH today to find out what “the indie-rock of the literary industry” is all about!

The PostCollege Memoirs of Paul Hutson edition by John Skoutelas Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews
Thank god this book was free because it is absolute garbage! Boring, uneventful, just a complete waste of my time. I stopped reading after 15minutes.
TPCMPH was a quick read and kept my attention the whole way. After reading it I felt a dire urge to watch Full House, The O.C. and Harry Potter. John (Stamos) Skoutelas made me feel right at Hogwarts with the witty jokes and college-life format.
